How we source data

Park discovery

Private RV parks are identified via Google Maps using multiple search terms. Mobile home parks, storage facilities, and public campgrounds are excluded. We track only private commercial RV parks with nightly or long-stay hookup sites.

Rate extraction

For each park with a website, we fetch their pricing page and extract published nightly, weekly, and monthly amounts. We record the source URL and extraction date with every rate.

Unpublished rates

Parks with no published rate are labeled "Rate not listed." We never invent, estimate, or average in a missing rate. The 119 parks showing that label are candidates for the owner claim flow.

Verification dates

Every rate carries a verification date shown as "verified MMM YYYY." Rates older than 90 days show an amber indicator. Call the park to confirm before booking.

Some parks do not publish rates on their websites. We show them in the directory but mark the rate as unlisted. We never invent a number. Park owners can claim their listing and add rates at no cost.

Do you cover public campgrounds?

No. This directory covers private commercial RV parks only. We track full-hookup parks with nightly, weekly, or monthly stays.

How do I add or correct a rate?

Park owners can use the claim flow to add or update rates. Visitors can email hello@rvparkrates.com with corrections and we will verify and update within 48 hours.
